This was taken at the Burlington Waterfront on a very cold winter day of Korean artist Hyun Ok Min as she was wearing a traditional outfit from her homeland.

LOCATION: Lake Champlain, Vermont (from my home) CAMERA: Canon EF LENS: Canon 50mm F1.4 lens FILM: Fuji Velvia (Rated at 40 ISO)
A storm was rolling in from the north, so I quickly grabbed my camera and a tripod and ran down the stairs to the beach and set things up. I attached a cable release to the shutter button and set the aperture to somewhere in the middle (approx F8) and set the shutter speed to the "bulb" setting and waited. Using a long shutter speed I was able to capture several bursts of lightening in the distance before the rain started to come down.
NOTE – I used a neutral density filter on the lens so as prevent over-exposure.
